Hello everyone,I am encountering some trouble with my printer. Every time I give a print command, the printer pulls in more than one page at a time. I simply can’t understand what could be the problem. Any help would be appreciated.-Tg
That is stupid. You would break the lease and lose a deposit and go to all the expense of moving again just because there is no smoke detector. Buy one and install it yourself.
My husband understands that what he was doing wasn't what the company wanted, BUT everyone there was doing it, too. He was the only one let go. - The company had the right to fire anyone not following their rules. Perhaps there were other reasons as well, and this was the 'last straw' or the only legal reason they could fire him, even though they weren't happy with his performance (only they know). I feel betrayed. - Then you need to discuss it with your husband. Hopefully he's learned his lesson and at future jobs, he won't break the rules just because others do it and don't seem to get in trouble for it. What do I do? How do I move on? - You accept that you married someone who, like most humans, made a mistake. Hopefully he'll find work with another company and won't have a problem following their rules. People sometimes lose their jobs dear. He didn't cheat on you. There's nothing for you to 'move on' from, or there shouldn't be. If you are that devastated that he messed up, talk to a counselor. They can help you learn to deal with your feelings. I also don't know what he should be telling people when he goes on interviews. - that's really his business, but he should tell them he's seeking employment, and play up his strengths. Being upset that he was let go and no one else was, isn't going to change anything. They chose to let him go. If you two live in a 'right to work' state, then it really doesn't matter because a person can get fired or quit, for any reason at all (no justification needed). The downside is, that he may not be able to draw unemployment because of it (but he should try). Hopefully he'll be working again soon, and it'll all be behind you both. Did you have a question?
Who do you feel betrayed by, and why. Your husband was stealing from his employer, violating company policy, and annoying his boss. And you are surprised he got fired. He deserved it. But news flash. Your boss doesn't need a reason to fire you. They can do it just because they want to.
What is your rant's purpose on here? Your husband was falcifying records, there shouldnt be any mercy for him, what others are doibg or not doing is absolutely none of your or his business. Maybe they will get fired later. Or maybe your husband was made an example and the rest of them would be scared to steal from their employer. Writing more time than u spent on the job is called stealing. Anyway there is no need to cry over spilled milk, what he should answer on interciew is i was made redundant due to company's policy and pray the new employer will not contact the previous one and enquire. If they do i doubt your husband will ever get hired.
