Question:

problem with light?

what color would i get if i pass light from a light bulb through a red filter and then through a green filter?

Answer:

You wouldn't get anything. The red filter only passes red light (assuming it's nearly perfect) hence all of the green light does not make it through the filter. The green filter only passes green light so the red light won't make it through. Nothing comes out of the green filter.
id say ull get no color ....
hot pink?
A filter doesnt actually filter out a specific color but filters out all other colors so if you pass it thru a green filter last you actually would have a green light.
Agree, no colour would come out the green filter. Because only red light comes out the red filter. So there is no green to allow through the green filter, so the red gets flitered and nothing comes out. Coolio! OK now I'm off to get some empirical data! yay!
