Okay, so we have a sink drain flowing into PVC pipe. The whole sink is going to be replaced soon. However, I'm planning to hopefully cut the pipe off down a little ways from the current sink drain, and just join some PVC pieces to itbecause it would be really dumb to run the whole drain again when the drain pipe is fine. Of course, I'll have to adjust it to fit the new pipe.My main question ishow can I determine what the size of the current PVC drain pipe is, in order to buy some more of that same pipe? I don't have any PVC for reference, and I don't want to guess at it. I'm not that great with plumbing, but I do know that pipe is measured according to the inside wall. However, I didn't particularly want to cut the drain pipe at the present time (to take an example), until I have everything here with me to install the new sink and pipe sections. Is there a way for me to measure the outward circumference and determine what size it is for the inside wall? Or am I even correct
he can get in BIG trouble if he fires you after you tell him your preggers, but after maternity leave it would be hard to prove his motive unless you actually heard him say that was his reasonings for firing you
Depends on where you're from and how long you've been there. In canada, we have the 3 month probation period for jobs, where basically your employer could let you go for any reason, and not be penilized for it. If you've been there longer than 3 months, they can't do anything. Again, in Canada, when you go on Mat leave, they have to keep your position for you, or when you go back give you something similar. yes, unless you actually demonstrate that your performance has suffered to a point that you are ineffective on the job. Your boss is not compelled to keep you just because you are pregnant, just can't fire you because you are. If the business duffers because of your job performance then he has the legal right to find someone that can do the job at least in most states of the US.
