Question:

Putting a performance exhaust or a muffler on a ford ranger?

Hi, I have a ford ranger 54 reg 2.5td supercab and i want to make it sound awesome. But i have no clue what to get to make it sound nice. Could i just buy a muffler or would i have to get a new exhaust or just buy a new back box? Would it be expensive and easy to put on? Can universal exhaust systems, muffler, back boxes fit on a ford ranger or would i have to buy specific parts for the truck (customised)?Does anyone have suggestions for parts and internet webites (preferbly uk postage)? Do performance exhausts make it a lot faster with a awesome sound? Thanks a lot, Joe

The final answer for Grow Nano Vol 3 is leaf, blanket, wife, fire, ice and food. Done! :)
For the best answers, search on this site shorturl.im/aybfo Whats good Frum! Im going to go with the Vol 1. Ive always liked the Rasco track - unassisted. Charizma's cut was another one of my favorites. Kool Keith, J Live, Mr Complex, Co-Flow, Camp Lo quite a nice verity.

by adding an exhaust system, you will probably free up the exhaust, giving the engine a little more power. by just changing the muffler, you will get the sound, but not the benefits of a full exhaust system. over here in the USA, you see a lot of Flowmaster and Magnaflow mufflers. check youtube and you'll probably find a video of a truck similar to yours and you can see what you like. as for where to go, it shouldn't be hard to find a kit made for the truck. if all else fails, any exhaust shop should be able to fabricate one from scratch.
