Question about car rims/wheels?

So I have a car that has hubcaps now, and I was wanting to buy some actual rims Would I have to replace all the tires to or could I just take off the hubcaps and get someone to install the wheels that I‘ve bought?

Answer:

new to riding. buy a cheap second hand 250cc learn to ride first yam R1 is for someone that has around 5 years plus of riding.
Unless you have a suicide wish, stay off an R1 for a couple of years at least. Get you a Buell Blast or a 500 Ninja or maybe at your size try the 250 Ninja. If you are a guy and 120lbs at 18, you need to be eating buckets of protein and vegetables and then you might have the strength to control an R1 after a few years of experience.
If the new wheels are the same size and diameter as the current wheels, you can just have the tires pulled off the old wheels and put on the new ones. If you buy a different size wheel, you'll need new tires.
Even though you have hubcaps, you still have a steel wheel behind them. If you have a 15 steel wheel and you get 15 wheels (rim is just a part of a wheel, just like a hubcap), then you can use your current tires. If you have a 15 wheel, and your new wheels are 16, you would need all new tires.
