I am doing a project where I need to make a light sensor at the end of a pvc pipe. The one of the pvc pipe needs to be waterproof and capped with plexiglass or some other clear equivalent so the light can reach the sensor. Does anyone know if there are readily made pipe fittings out there to do this and if so, where? Thanks, and will definitely give 10 points for this one.

Brother-in-law and I killed a deer and so late in the evening we elected to spend the night on the river. We had some camping gear in the pick-up, but the deer was across the river, no way to it but walk. I had a good sleeping bag, army sup. and Bob had some blankets. We built a pretty good size fire, cooked and made coffee. My coffee cup about an hour later 3 ft. from the fire, the coffee in it was frozen. About 2:00, Bobs shadow between me and the fire, woke me, what is it Bob? He replied with a shaking voice, I'm freezing, as he placed more logs on the fire. Just having a good sleeping bag made all the difference in a good nights sleep and tending the fire.
