My favorite genres of Metal are Folk and Technical Death Metal. Folk: Moonsorrow (most epic band ever) Ensiferum Finsterforst Asmegin Forefather Kampfar Tyr Eluveitie Black Messiah XIV Dark Centuries Thaurorod Turisas (but they're kinda generic) Tech-Death: Atheist Cynic Necrophagist Theory in Practice Death (only the later albums) Pitbulls in the Nursery Blotted Science (this band has no vocals though.) I also reccomend: Wintersun Carcass Opeth Skeletonwitch (LISTEN TO THIS BAND) Trouble Candlemass Summoning Hypocrisy And I saved the best for last, Ayreon. This band will blow your mind, seriously.
