a major difference between metals and nonmetals is that metal atoms lose their outer electrons whereas nonmetals prefer to gain electrons. Why is this statement true. Please explain.
ummm,well let's see. in my opinion, these are different sub genres of metal. i'm not an expert or anything..just my opinion :) power metal -dragonforce metal -all shall perish -through the eyes of the dead metalcore -all that remains -killswitch engage progressive metal -between the buried and me black metal -poison now most people don't include it, but i include grindcore under that category as well grindcore -see you next tuesday -ed gein -daughers etc. hope i helped! to everyone that said i was wrong: i never said that this was what the person had to absolutely go by, i said IN MY OPINION from the start.
for my section i do no longer see something incorrect with having many subgenres. form isn't a bad element. i'll confess they are alot of pointless subgenres and that i hate it how there is a few so referred to as subgenres that are subgenres as a results of lyrical topic like Viking metallic. I additionally admit form debates get actual annoying and alot of subgenres do create form nazism.
