Hi,As above, could anyone give me some information on housing (e.g. vivarium size) Rankins dragons and their average lifespan? Thanks
can not communicate for use of goggles. power would would desire to be measured right. i think the advice on such severe power lasers is they might desire to easily be used indoors in a controlled ecosystem, ie you be attentive to the place anyone is and be attentive to the laser won't component at them.
Oh yes, my husband may just be the hottest man alive.
Control your energy and harness it for the good of mankind. And for god sake man, where gloves if you plan on applauding allotyou could kill somebody if your at a ball game and the home team hits a grand slam.
I would not trust my eyes to those. For one thing, they are not stamped with an optical density at 532 nm so you don't really know they are O.D. 5 at 532 nm. Additionally, they claim they are for UV lasers, not visible lasers. Without knowing the transmission curve, and judging just by their color, they do not look like any pair of YAG goggles I have ever seen. Most frequency doubled YAG goggles (that's 532 nm) are amber, as shown below, not pink (and color makes a difference for these absorptive laser goggles). However, there is another reason why you want real YAG glasses and not those UV glasses. That is a 532 nm laser beam is actually two beams. There is a lot of green, which is the second harmonic of the fundamental output of a YAG, and then there is a bunch of residual 1064 nm laser light, which is the primary. I'm guessing that your UV goggles will do nothing to block the primary, and that is as damaging (especially for a class IV laser) as the second harmonic (and even if they do, you don't know they do). The ones I've listed below (and I have no affiliation with that company, there are lots of other options out there) block both the 532 and the 1064. Really, you do not want to scrimp on cheap laser goggles. A decent pair will only be $150 or so, and you only have one pair of eyes. Going around with faulty safety equipment is even more dangerous than doing without. I would rather wear nothing than eye protection that was not rated for what I wanted to do, especially using a class IV laser.
