Question:

Rear brake locking is it OK for the motorcycle?

Today morning I locked my Motorcycles back brakes in traffic. The vehicle slide a little(Around 3 - 4mtrs) and the engine stopped. (I had no enough time to pull in the clutch)Is this OK for the Motorcycle?

Answer:

Its totally fine, its like the equivlent of stalling a dirt bike on a hill.
It's normal. You'll stop faster using the front brakes, they don't lock up as easy. It's not that great for the tire, but the engine stopped because your rear wheel locked up. Just hit the front brakes next time, and tap the back, don't hold it down.
Simple, dont use your rear brake so hard it locks up.
