Ok so i just bought a cb360 to learn on, but the rear tire doesn‘t give me a lot of confidence cuz it keeps feeling like their is no grip back there. I cleaned the tire n still it feels the same. Oh and it didn‘t feel like this before
Did you do the obvious and check the tire pressure?A low tire can cause bad handling.Just looking at it is not a judge that the pressure is good.After that i would check the swingarm bushings and wheel bearings.
I had a CB360T from 1978 to 1980 and it felt the same way. You just have to get used to it. You might check the swingarm bearings, though. I did about 30,000 miles on my 360, but it took a long time to feel confident cornering hard on it.
Sounds like your tyre is worn out. I am curious to know how you cleaned your tyre
