Question:

rear wheel drive question?

does rear wheel drive vehicles like the mr2 turn with their front wheels or the back wheels?

Answer:

you should be able to jack up the car by the bumper or frame and let the wheel expand the coil spring. Then the same tool used for installation is used for removal
the front wheels turn. but you can find some rare cars that do 4 wheel turning, just look it of on google.
Front wheel drive for me. OK you can do some serious drifting in a rear wheel drive car but apparently can go into a spin fairly easily if pushed a bit too much on normal roads. Also,in this snowy weather I would prefer front wheel as the weight is at the front with the steering wheels. BUT, this is just an opinion.
all cars, regardless of where the power is going, turn with their front wheels. It's only rear-wheel-DRIVE since the car is being driven forward, or moved forward by the rear wheels, because that's where the engine's power is going. only times a car will have the rear wheels steer, is if they have four-wheel steering, where the front wheels still do most of the steering, but the back wheels help a bit, but cars with four-wheel steering are rare. one example of a four-wheel-steered rear wheel drive car is the Nissan 300ZX. Just remember that all cars steer/turn with the front wheels.
usually, the same tool that compresses the springs will stretch them to remove the spacers. this tool can be bought at most auto parts stores.
