Does any body know if there is a universal remote control that has the ability to turn a television on at a preset time? My Samsung in my bedroom of course is one of the few that doesn't have a built-in feature to turn itself on at a certain time.I figure that hey, there are (or were, at least) universal controllers that could be set to record programs on a VCR from a certain time, and to stop at another time, so why can't a remote turn on a TV?
that function has to built into the tv for it to work on a universal remote. Did you check the sleep function?sometimes its there or a function called timer.
