Question:

Removed dry wall and discovered paper on insulation had turned black, what is it?

I originally thought mold, but the fact that the dry wall paper (not green drywall) is completely normal, there is no signs of moisture infiltration and the dark color appears to be limited to the insulation paper only I have tried to find information on the internet, but so far only sketchy information about blackening of the paper at bestAny thoughts to the issue?

Answer:

you r better off eliminating what it is not, and its not mold if the black isn't on the the studs or drywallhow old is the house, has it been renovated before, was there a fire? these are all questions you should be askingheat will cause paper insulation to blacken, and that's not a good signIf it's an old house look at the wiring or the heating.
We have bottled waterI think most canned foods need to be preserved or something and water doesn'tAlso plastic is not as heavy as cans, so it would be more practical to carry around I guess
It might make the water taste tinny like how canned tomatoes can getIt is rumored that chemicals in the metals used in cans might seep into the waterHowever, I've heard the same thing about bottled water.
It is because of the lining of the canIf the can is aluminium you would be creating a bomb instead of harmless waterIf the water were to be shipped in a hot container then things can be fatalWater reacts fairly with aluminium but with the help of temperature it can create an explosionBut good question though to the people who don't do science. Its kinda stupid for the persons who do advanced science.
Why not buy a filter and a vacuum bottle? Save the planet from bottled water drinkers!!!!
