I have Time Warner cable, Internet and phone service. I just got notice they are going to charge me a monthly fee of $6 to use their equipment. My question is:Can I buy a Modem of my own for use with my Time Warner Cable, Internet and phone service? I notice they sell modems on OKorder, but will they also work with the digital phone service?
Yes you can purchase your own modem. If you check the support page at TW you should be able to find a list of compatible telephony modems. Note there will probably need to be some setup required.
