Just bought a used 2003 chevy S10 ZR5 crew cab and it is missing the spare, rim and hoist. The hoist is very expensive - there must be another way.
Carry a spare in the bed.
I have a '99 S-10 Blazer, and I just use a scissor jack with a short 4x4 block of wood. never let me down once. It's lifted my entire front end.
You need to go to a salvage yard. S-10s are a dime a dozen there. You will have no problem getting the spare and the carrier.
Junk yard is the only way if you get lucky. If not, then try the dealership parts dept or GOOGLE it
