Question:

Road kill - a nasty speed bump?

As I bicycle to work on a daily basis, I often encounter many road kills, such as opossums. Usually, I try to avoid running over them. But yesterday, I had to run over a huge opossum. It was during heavy traffic and it was unavoidable. It was a nasty speed bump, as my bicycle actually bounced. Genuinely, what did it felt like when you had to run over a road kill? Was it quite a thump?

Answer:

the heat detector you speak of is actually called a smoke alarm. Smoke alarms that are wired into homes, to my knowledge, do not recieve power from your home, but instead sort of communicate with the other smoke alarms in your home. the battery is accessible from the end that the house wires connect to or on the opposite end. in either case the battery compartment should be clearly visible.
Yeah a whole roll at the parts store then you can peel it off when you find out you dont like it
