That so called scientist was rightfully canned. Everyone is entitled to their own religious beliefs. That is protected under our constitution- Bill of Rights. However, when it effects one's productivity at work, the employer has every right to make a stand. In this particular instance, it interfered with the objectivity of the work. It is not impossible to have a personal belief of creation yet respect the theory of evolution while in the workplace.

i do not call myself a Christian even if I went by way of 13 years of parochial college. i imagine i became over-indoctrinated, and that i have rejected an excellent variety of the fairy-tale element of christianity, even if it made me very interested in spirituality and it made me want to study as a lot as i might want to about all religions. Why would someone want to call him/herself some thing he's not? reason they have Christian leanings ?
