Yes, it is just much more potent. The resin from marijuana is what is used to make hash. The resin (tricombes) are pressed into pieces that can be smoked in a pipe or a bong. their are many ways to make hash, and it is a lot of fun. i have made a few grams. if you are only an occasional pot smoker like my self, making your own hash is not easy you get a 15:85 ratio of resin (tricombes that will be pressed into hash) to 85 parts weed! so for every 100 grams, you only get 15 grams of hash. this is why hash is typically more expensive then normal bud. however, hash is amazing! i had 1 gram of hash from B.C. that got me and 6 of my friends totally baked and we stayed high all night. the gram was 20 bucks but totally worth it. anyways, all in all, smoking the resin does the same thing, however you need to press it into a solid piece, or its going to be messy and not easy to smoke
