Question:

School lighting vs natural lighting makeup wise?

In school lighting when I look in the mirror my face matches my neck nicely but when i look in the natural light outside it looks quite darker/orange toned. i just ordered super pale expensive makeup that will match me but until it gets here i have to use the makeup i have since i have horrid acne. do people see my face as the color the school lighting makes it or as the natural lighting makes it look if they were sitting next to me and looking at my face?

Answer:

Most people probably won't notice the difference I ask my friends all the time if they can tell if I have something on my face like a pimple for example and they say no, when I feel like everyone can see it. :)
Natural lighting is what it really looks like on you, so if it looks darker and orange on you in natural lighting, that means that it's too dark and too orange on you regardless of how it looks under fluorescent or any other type of lighting. For that reason, you should apply your makeup in as close to natural lighting as you can get--not outdoors, necessarily, but next to a window perhaps. I even apply it in my car sometimes. Since it's too dark for you, I recommend you either sheer it out/dilute it with a moisturizer, or apply a lighter powder on top.
If they are in school with you, they are going to see what you see in the mirror. If you are sitting outside with them, the color difference in more apparent. Dont stress it. Getting a perfect match is nearly impossible.
The lighting will effect everyone and all of your skin so it will blend and look natural. Do your makeup at home infront of natural lighting for the best results. Something that might seem really prominent to you others will hardly notice and that is because you know that it is there :) youtu.be/6R6xxWP0g7A
It won't be too noticeable. Most people won't look to see if your makeup matches it's probably not so drastic a change that they would notice unless they were looking for it stared at you.
