Question:

Sealing collage - already used rubber cement. Acrylic sealer + Mod Podge? Laminate it? What's best?

So, I'm making a collage of years and years of doodles I drew during college. I've pretty much completed it . only problem is, I used (acid free) rubber cement. I just learned that rubber cement loses its grip over time.My question is, since I don't want to start all over and risk ruining the doodles, how can I make the collage more permanent?I thought about coating the whole thing with an acrylic sealant, then using a few layers of Mod Podge over the top. I know Mod Podge can make ink bleed and don't want to ruin the ink drawings. Would the acrylic sealant be enough to keep the drawings from leaking? Would it all stick together fairly permanently? The other thing I thought about was having the collage laminated at Kinko's or something. Anyone have experience with this?Any other ideas are welcome and would be much appreciated!

Answer:

yes, definitely. in my old apt, my room had a very sensitive smoke detector that went off from my candle that had a pretty big flame (and it wasnt even close to the detector) also if my main light was off for a long time and i turned it back on it would beep twice (i know, weird) but the smoke detector was right next to the light.
While I would normally say the Kong (almost double the normal dog toy cost) I will just say any toy that you can put peanut butter or dog treats in. The Kong is great for HEAVY chewers like my dogs, other toys might work just as well for lighter chewers. I do agree though that if you exercise your dog in the morning and night, it will be tired out!! A good game of fetch for 15 minutes does wonders compared to a 30 or 40 minute walk.
