I have a 99 Grand AM GT. Service engine light came on. Took it to auto zone for a diagnostics test, the test said bad gas cap. I bought another gas cap, and replaced the potentially faulty gas cap. the light is still on. Of course it could be another problem regarding the evap system.How long can it take for the service engine soon light to go away after a problem has been resolved?
i dont really have an answer for this my 99 montana does the same thing ive replaced the wiper motor on mine it worked good for about seven swipes then back to the way it was doesnt this just p%$^ you off
HONESTLY I DONT THINK IS GOING TO TURN OFF PRETTY SOON, IT MAY UNESPECTALLY BUT TO BE SURE TRY DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY FOR A WHOLE DAY AND NIGHT AND MAYBE IT SHUTS OFF.
