I just had my car serviced about two months ago. I drive longs distances quite a bit, and I‘ve driven 1400 miles since I had my car serviced. But about a month ago the service engine soon light came on, and won‘t go off. I am thinking it might be a O2 censor or something but I don‘t know. And I don‘t have the money to go get it checked out, but if someone could give me advice, I can fix smaller stuff by myself (i.e. spark plugs, O2 censors, etc.). Does anyone have an idea of why this light won‘t go off?
AutoZone and most auto stores like them will connect an OBDII reader to your car and tell you what the problem is for free. They are hoping to sell you the parts you need to fix the car.
