Does anybody know how to setup my DVD Recorder in order to control trough it my Cable decoder. My DVD recorder is a Sony RDR-GX300
You would have the DVD recorder control the cable box, probably with an IR blaster from the recorder tot he cable box, if the recorder supports it. Otherwise you set separate channel changing and recording timers on the respective hardware.
