I personally don't like giving my Pokemon nicknames, but when I do I put part of the actual Pokemon's name into the nickname. Caulk around all outside areas such as windows and door frames. You can buy plastic sheeting and cut to fit over the outside of the windows and staple onto the window frame if you have wooden windows that do not seal out drafts. Also if you cover the vents on the roof and gables on the ends of the house, you would be surprised at how much it makes the inside of the house warmer.
