I applied thinking that when i arrived i would find like-minded young, competitive, patriotic, and hard-working peopleInstead over the past 1.5 years i have witnessed severe egoism, laziness, people seeking every possible excuse to get out of duties, double standards concerning disenrollment (colonel's kid etc.) and a complete mockery of instilling the ideas of teamwork and duty into anyone herei want to know before i commit (similar to contracting) in may whether or not i should leave the Aluminum Womb and serve my country in a less privelaged, but possibly more honorable way?
YOUR choice, leave the USAF Aademy and serve as an enlisted airman or tough it out, earn your commission and become a great officer?!!!
