For a small sandwich use a sandwich bag with a zip lock, for a large sandwich use saran wrap or wax paperWhen wrapping hot food with aluminum/plastic, it can leak into the food and that's linked to cause Alzheimer's/cancer respectively, but I guess it's okay for cold food.
