Question:

Should I Purchase A Palm Pre Or An iPhone 3GS?

I recently purchased the Palm Pre and am beginning to love it, but with the new iPhone coming out and the buzz surrounding it, I am enticed to get it. I text a lot, so the actual keyboard on the Pre is big with me, but could see the landscape keyboard as being a possibility on the new iPhone. What do you think? (Keep in mind, price of phone and phone plan aren't an issue, thanks)

Answer:

Set the drums on fire and then smash the guitar over them.
The first step in getting speed humps for your street is to request a study from the Department of Transportation. DOT engineers look at the condition of the street and its traffic speed and volume to see if it meets their criteria. If the street is eligible, the second step is signing petitions. DOT provides petitions that must be signed by 75% of the residents on either side of the street proposed for street humps. Following the collection of enough signatures, the residents may submit an application with the petition. These steps may vary from one municipality to another, but you can probably get more detailed information from your city information office.
If you live on a street they don't usually put speed bump on a public street. Sometimes you can get a stop sign put in to help slow down traffic, but people who use this street consider it a public area not a privately owned street.
you will want to draft a letter with your many reasons in it. If you can find statistics about how many speeding tickets, etc., include those. Get as many people as you can to sign it and send it to your mayor. I am sure they will look into it.
Get a jack hammer and put a bunch of pot holes all over the road. The road won't look so tempting to racers after that ;)
