I might buy this build: with extra ram or should I get a new build with the AMD Bulldozer once it comes out?

It won't be a massive price cut by any means but by and large it does save you some money on a processor or GPU when a manufacturer releases a new one. The Bulldozer is going to be far better than an i5, especially if you get the 8-core model. The mice thing about AMD is that they make processors that are just as good as Intel, but at far cheaper prices. Even if you shell out $350 for an 8-core Bulldozer it still beats $1000+ for the i7 extreme edition. I have also heard that AMD is going to make a 10-core Piledriver series CPU next year so you may just buy this and consider upgrading if you have the money next year. As for thew build you chose, it would probably work but it designed more for gaming than anything. In addition to the extra RAM I would also consider another hard drive. If you are doing large video editing projects you may run out of space faster than you think.
the i7 2600k may actually be on par or better then the new amd bulldozers. I hope not but I haven't seen positive reviews from early spec listings.
