Question:

Skateboard wheels????

okay whats the difference from a 52mm wheel and a 53mm wheel for skateboards. does one go slower or faster??

Answer:

53 is just 1 mm bigger lol, i prefer 51mm
they go the same speed but the 53 is heavier
They go the same speed but it makes u higher off the ground.
no the spped is determined by how hard you push and also by the king of bearings that you have. the wheels might just be bigger meaning that you will be a little bit higher from the ground.
What makes the wheels on a skateboard go faster all depends on the bearings you put into the wheels. As far as the size goes.... If the skater likes to skate Trans (ramps, vert, ect.) The bigger the wheel the better. Smaller wheels are used for more experienced street (non-vert) skaters because it makes the board lighter and easier to do tricks on but these smaller wheels will also make the board harder to balance on. I recomend 52mm wheels for better skaters who dont skate verry much vert, and 53 mm for begginer skaters.
