smoke detector chirping!! help?

my smoke detector is loud and won't stop chirping. i would try and unscrew it but it's unreachable. it's on such a high ceiling that only a broom or something could reach. (i dont have a ladder). can i press the button to make it stop chirping? idk what to do

It was probably just a coincidence that the new cable modem helped for a while. Your problem is most likely what you suggested The node you are connected to on your cable company's line is probably overcrowded. At night, when everyone is on their computer, xbox, netflix, etc., your internet really slows down. Only your cable company can fix this problem. I would keep complaining to them if I were you. That is assuming you are hard wired from you xbox to your router. If you are playing on wireless, that could introduce a whole separate set of problems. Wireless signals can get messed up with interference. This also could be a worse problem at night than during the day, especially if any neighbors that live close by also have a wireless router.
Not unless you have a power failure,then the battery would take over.The battery should last a year if never having a power loss.
You can't add the coating back on the lens. The AR coating is something that is added prior to the lenses even being cut for the frame.
