I recently bought a home with 6 smoke detectors. The alarm just went off (3 loud beeps) and then stopped. I waited for about 10 mins. and it went off again - and stopped. I've noticed they all beep red every 20 seconds or so, but the green LED light is solid. There is no evidence of smoke or fire.I also have a home alarm system, would that have anything to do with the smoke detectors going off? Thanks in advance.
The silver one is a power type extinguishing agent. The red one is most likely a water or other fluid type. Cars have fluids that burn, ie gas, diesel and oils. If you try to use a fluid type extinguisher you would just spread the fire by spreading out the fluid. The power types are more exspensive and usually caustic and poisonous. You could use that to extinguish most types of fires, but the building manage prefers it for automotive fires and labeled it Cars Only.
daaaamnnnn uhm switch schools or do the whole 'the right to freedom of expression' plea, get the student body together, and petition your asses off the dress code at my school says that they basically just cannot be naked sooo pfft, tough luck on you. __ But if your looking for a loop-hole, it wont work because of this little quote: The Assistant Principal for Student Development will have the final decision in all dress matters. basically enables them to change it on the spot, ban, or prohibit something on the spot .. god man, im going to have nightmares of a school so horrifying id hate to see you guys have a party.. lol __ one way i thought of to protest this dress code in a very small way; whenever a teacher or faculty member wears a shirt with any sort of insignia on it, to say that it is distracting, get a bunch of students together and get them to do the same. Graphics or logos on shirts that are suggestive or indecent or which cause distraction are not acceptable. i would say that a very simple two tone shirt is distracting, or a tie with a simple pattern, or if its too shiny, you get the point.
