Question:

Smoke detector keeps going off for no reason?

Ok.. I've googled various solutions already. So don't tell me batteries or dust because I've already had maintenance guy replace all the batteries and clean off the detectors and check for insects. So without any provocation, my smoke detector randomly goes off for about 2-3 seconds then stops. Sometimes it repeats this behavior a couple times in several minutes. Other times its good for almost the whole day. Typically it starts in the evening and goes off every couple hours. I haven't cooked anything. Haven't used my heater. No steam or smoke. They are battery powered but connected to wires in the ceiling. There are 4 detectors total. But only two (one on either side of my kitchen) are doing this. Does anyone know what can cause this because the apartment maintenance guy doesn't know!.

Answer:

I just bought new electric blanket for our beds. One BIG problem! They only stay on for ONE hour! Doesn't work for me!
I remember one guy I played against wore safety goggles once but that was years ago and at mini-rugby level. You would have to consult your team and see what they say.
yes it is alot better it takes less electricity, and doesnt use up as much money as the ac does. you can turn it off at night nd us the blankets. in my old home in illinois, we set a fire in the fireplace, if no fireplace the use candles. alot more world sufficient. (:
Good Question It may be, but the danger of fire does not warrant the savings.
