Question:

so how do alarm systems work exactly?

if u dont feel like reading the story just read the last sentence.okay so my parents just set up an alarm system because they caught me sneaking out. my dad said that if the door opens the alarm will go off. so my plan was to leave a window open. they caught me again. i think if i had picked a window that wasnt right across from the alarm system thingy i would have made it cause im guessing my mom just went to set the alarm system and saw that the window was open. so now i have another window on the other side of the house. its in this little office that noone ever goes in and i can just leave the window cracked and noone would notice.so anyways im just wondering if the alarm would go off if i opened a window. or should i just open the window before they turn on the alarm?

Answer:

Yes and no. Pressurized fire extinguishers need more then simply looking at the gauge. There is a dry powder inside, so tilt it back and forth, to make sure the powder is free flowing. The common water one, that you have to invert to get pressure to work is unlikely to expire. But CO2 extinguishers need to be weighed on a regular basis to make sure nothing has leaked out. They don't have a gauge.
Yeah, they wouldn't last long in The Attitude Era.
