Then let it go.I find it a little interesting that you feel she copies you because in reality that's the best form of flattery,so take as she does not have enough of her own good ideas so she needs to copy yours and smile about it.If you can just find it in you to laugh at her she will soon start leaving you alone.Don't take any thing she says as a fact or a truth from this moment on every thing she says is a joke to you -laugh until she goes away and leaves you alone.If she ask why your laughing at what she said.Get real serious and say oh you mean ITs not a joke?You will soon find your self wanting her to come say some thing just so you can laugh.Once you take there power away this kind of person will find another victim to pursue.

Chances are if she makes you feel like that their are others at work that feel the same way about her, it's always good to have any Allies with people like that, also if you guys don't work in the same department just start telling her your really busy with something and you can't talk than grab some papers and walk away, or tell her you were just going to the washroom and hide out for a bit, don't let her start talking after you brush her off a few times she'lll start to get the message, she's probably already talking about you so its no big deal if she starts saying more.as long as its to someone else!.you could also go to your supervisors supervisor explain that working with her makes you uncomfortable and that you can't tell your boss because they'ree friends, just say it feels like a hostile environment and that you would be more productive if you weren't constantly been harassed by her.

I actually had a coworker just like this for a yearIt was hard dealing with all the crap that they were pulling and getting by withit seemed like they had everyone eating out of their hand at the same time that they were making my life miserableno one even realized how horrible the person was, much less that they didn't do much work and took credit for other peoples workI didnt' want to go to the boss, because we worked in an office where we work together a lot and i didnt want to cause hard feelings in the officeI figured that it was just something i would have to accept and that things could be a lot worseEventually the person quit and now the office is a great place to workmy advice would be to just hold on and bite the bulletTry and do your best at work and just keep on doing what you are doingsooner or later others will see what she is doing and she will get tired of it and leave or get firedit's only a matter of timepeople like that can't stay around forever, they make to many enemiesI wish you luck and hope this helps.
