how do i get bleack stains of a rug?

so the cat pooped on the rug.i cleaned it up.it smelled.i tried to cover it up with bleach.it left a big stain.i dont want to buy any stain remover.now what do i do?

Answer:

its not a stain. Bleach actually removes the color - Its there forever!!!
unfortunately, there is no way to get a bleach stain out of a carpet. carpet dye is added topically, so what you have done is taken the color out of the rug. you may be able to have it repaired... if you have a large enough piece of carpet in a closet, an experienced carpet installer may be able to cut out the damaged piece and replace it . it won't be a perfect fix, but it will be better that what you have now.. for future reference NEVER use bleach on carpet, it is not color fast, and depending on the kind of carpet, you may melt the carpet. before using any kind of cleaning product, you should test it in a closet, or an inconspicuous area.
Bleach isn't a stain, it's bleach. Meaning there is no color under the bleach. You won't be able to restore the color to the rug because it is no longer there. The bleach altered or removed the color. Hide the spots cleverly or buy a new rug.
You can't cover a bleach stain--the bleach has taken all the color out. If the carpet is a beige or tan, I would try to saturate the area with some tea. Tea can be make lightly or strong, and it will stain. So try to put some color back into the rug. meanwhile, get a product called Anti Icky-Poo which will remove the odor.
