Question:

Soda Pop: Bottle's and cansCan company's find a wiser way to package?

I definitely think that cans are better, because they are great for portion control and the soda keeps longerThe downside is that mountain dew(diet or not) taste bad out of a can and so does lemonade it seems to adsorb the taste of the can itself.Bottles are not all that good, the clear ones if left in the sun or direct lightThe contents expires fasterThe 2 to 3 liter bottles, if ones family has no control they might drink too much so if it is like my family having several 2 liter bottles such as my dads diet pop, one or more people might drink 2liter or more per day.(like my dad usually does)What is the wise way to bottle these products? Why don't some people practice moderation?

Answer:

They recommend 3 months (see the panel on the inside of the freezer door) but properly packed they would last a year or longer.
Hi Mystery, I believe the shelve life is 6 monthsYour Friend, poppy1
I personally liked the old glass bottles best, you know back in the day when you actually needed a bottle opener to open a bottle of popHey, it wasn't that long ago either, I'm only 18 Lack of self control on the consumers part should not be blamed on the manufacturer2 and 3 liter bottles are good for parties and families and such Cans are alright, but I miss my glass bottles.
they will never go bad in a deep freezeIf food spoiled in the freezer there would be no point to freezing itAnd as long as they are wrapped tightly they won't freezer burn eitherFreezer burn is not dangerousIt just doesn't taste goodANY guideline to how long to freeze foods is for quality only.
With some Hamburger Helper !! ONLY KIDDING !! I use ground beef when making Shepherd's PieI cook it in a frying pan coated with some olive oil along with some fresh diced yellow onions, and a tablespoon each of A-1 Sauce and Lea Perrins Worcestershire SauceBefore I spoon the ground beef mixture into the baking dish, I line its bottom with Durkee Fried Onions, followed by the beef mixture, home-made mashed red potatoes, and topped with some sauteed vegetablesThe very last topping is a sprinkle of shredded cheeseThen into an oven on Bake 350 degrees for about 20 minutes to allow all ingredients to gel with each otherYUMMY !!
