Question:

Space heater or electric blanket?

The temps in my child's room drop down to below 60F at night in the winter because I need to turn the thermostat down at night. We live in an all electric house and when the heater kicks on too often, I wake up with coughing fits and/or a sore throat. If you had that problem, would you put a space heater in the room or would you prefer an electric blanket? My child is an adult and only comes home for maybe one weekend per month and during the holidays. Last winter she told me that she is always freezing to death at home. The dorms are kept much warmer. Our youngest child is already 11 but we have a couple of cats and a dog in the house.

Answer:

you know what is funny is the hydrant does not shoot water 100 feet in the air like in the movies, my friend knocked one over and nothing, no walll of water, no cops, look in your local phone book and report this, in the government pages, it will be taken care of. let us know how this turns out please thanks norris, this hydrant sat for about four days unfixed the guys parents anger lasted about 6 mos, and we lost our friend with a car for a year
And your question is what? Sounds like the opening paragraph to a good satirical short story though. Hopefully you will finish it.
Were you the only one complaining and refusing to wear the shirt? If so, that says more about you than the management. I love it when the company gives me clothes to wear. Saves money EDIT: I work around welders all the time, they always have short sleeved t shirts. What good is a strip of cotton against a piece of slag anyway? They wear gauntlets up to their elbows. I get the feeling you are leaving something out
If it is a matter of employee safety, it is a legal issue. If your bosses are acting in a way to cause harm to employees, it is illegal. Contact your state labor relations board. If they don't handle such a situation, they should know who would.
