my 1996 crown vic. makes a clunking noise when slowly driving over parking area speed bumps. any common cause??
We were at a barrel race one time and she had just gotten done with her horse and she was leading him back to the horse trailer and he reared up or something and she didn't let go of the reins and tried to pull him down and make sure he didn't get away (which was really dumb, your supposed to let go if that happens because you can get badly hurtas she did) and then he fell sideways and crushed her brain and the whole side of her face and she had to be lifeflighted and she was in a coma for a couple of months and then I'm not sure what happened to her. But this is why you should always wear a helmet!! If she was wearing a helmet maybe she wouldn't've been as badly hurt as she was
I haven't seen a lot of really bad, but the worst one I saw was watching jumpers at a show. The horse and rider where in the jump off and the jump was 8 feet. Litilery! So the horse got to the top but his leg went through a pole and came down on his back and landed on the rider..the horse was ok, but everybody thought the rider was dead. He wasn't but he did break his neck At that same show a horse got spooked and reared up and landed on his rider.
Is this a small business? Call the corporate office and speak to someone higher up! You can call the better business bureau or the labor department and explain your situation, maybe they can help also all depends in which state you live in and what you signed when applying for the job!! Good luck
go to a large dept store that has refrigerators and such and get a carton from them also ask for the polystyrene that they throw out . use this to make a box that fits your frame. lay the frame on the opened out carton and score it with a non sharp object[the back of a spoon is good] fold the carton over the top, score the other side and repeat the process. use what i call, DUC tape to secure the card board. turn the frame one turn and repeat the process. if you score it a little wider than the carton, you then will be able to cut the polystyrene stuff to fit the top, bottom and sides very snugly. good luck
I have seen many really nasty accidents but the worse was probably when teaching at a camp. I had finished with my ride and they were all commenting on what we had done in the lesson when from another arena there was horrendous screaming. I dismounted my ride and ran over to see what had happened. They had been doing trotting poles and a pony had stepped on a pole which rolled, he went down and the girl went over his head and flat on her back. In getting to his feet the pony had stood on her face and ripped half of it off. The instructor was the one screaming and I do admit that I fulfilled an ambition of mine and slapped her across the face to get her to control herself! (It worked) I sent one of the riders off to call for an ambulance and to get the first aid nurse there. The girl was a mess, her nose was nearly off her face some of her teeth were knocked into her mouth and her eye was out of the socket. She was rushed to hospital and the last I heard was that she was going to live but had a long road ahead. Several years later I was with the Pony Club show jumping team as trainer and setting the studs into one of the horses shoes when someone stood near and asked if I was Foxhunter, I said I was and she told me that she was the kid who had the terrible accident. My comment to her was Well, you loom a darn sight better now than last time I saw you! She had had masses of surgery but really there were no significant scars - she was competing representing her branch.
