Does anyone know how to quiet squeaky windshield wipers? I have even replaced them but they continue to make squeaky noises a lot when in use. I am starting to think that the problem lies with the windshield
wait till the windshield is wet before you turn them on
wash your window with Borax and then apply rain-x and replace the blades with the Rain-x brand. They are the best blades you cen get.
The previous answers are all good ones. I would add the following: I have had good success using a very fine glass polish on the windshield. It is usually available from autoparts stores in their carwash section. You can also find it online at places like Griots Garage. Also, be sure to regularly keep your wiper blades clean. Whenever you wash your windshield, pull up the wipers and clean them too.
