i have an 84 S-10 2wd and i want to put a suspension lift on it but i have a independent front suspension so how can i do it? i dont want to lift it super huge just like a max of 6 inches
as long simply by fact the bring up is already put in. Like above stated, you're able to do it on the floor. yet you will additionally want the shocks designed for a lifted truck simply by fact the production unit shocks have not got sufficient commute
first of all, 6 inches is pretty big. for an s-10 go with a 3 inch max. if you go any higher your truck will never handle the same way again and you have to extend break lines and all that stuff. you will just run into problems. it will cost you a little more to lift that truck with the independent suspension depending on what you do. you can just replace the coils in the front (if you have coils) but you will loose articulation. your second choice is to replace the whole front suspension system with an aftermarket one. i dont know if they make many for your truck but you can look around online. good luck
strap a person to the hood and make them move the wipers manually, until you can take the time to get them fixed
