If i wanted to do a system restore to a date not available on the system restore dates . Is it possible?

I asume you are talking about zone alarm firewall. First of all, it should detect that you have it installed. So the first thing I would do is ensure that you in fact have installed zone alarm properly, make sure it's all configured, enabled, etc.. and of course, that you have rebooted your computer. If you continue to have a problem you may want to check with zone alarm technical support or FAQ. Good Luck
The egg carton that you use for sound proofing is a type of foam sheet that has raised bumps making it look like an egg carton. Any foam or soft material will help. But I would try going to a home theater or car audio store they should have sound proofing material.
