I like to use DSR-DTR flow cotrol in one device and CTS-RTS flow control in another device and like to connect both. The important thing is that one system is DTE and another is DCE ie., straight cable is required.Thanks in advance.

this is a standard serial cable like you have in the back or your ps. pins 2/3/7 are the active pins but you need more if you use hardware flow control. it is easier, simple and better if you just use software flow control, assuming that is an option. What are you using this for and how fast do you need it to go? You can use a phone cord for simple pin 2/3/7 setup.
