you can grow them: 1. with different colored lights (red, green, blue) 2. with household fluorescent lights vs household incandescent lights. 3. at different distances from the bulbs. 4. with different amounts of water. 5. with different additives in the water, like sugar, salt, or fertilizer. 6. grow them at different temperatures. 7. give them different amounts of light, like 1 hour per day, 5 hours, 10 hours, etc. 8. grow them in dirt, sand, rocks, potting soil, water. Compare which of these do well and which do not. Explain why you think this happened.
Dude, weed is the way to go!!! You'll get a good grade AND have fun later on!
Dude just go to the link and grab the FREE How to hydro book and read it. Filled with tricks plus the site has the cheapest gear I have found online. But a 4X4 rockwell cub and PH nutrient filled water is all you need doesn't matter how you apply it really as long as you give the plants enough time to breath and don.t drown them. I prefer flood to drain easy to do with a pump and timer.
Get some dixie cups, fluorescent lights, vermiculite, potting soil, rapid grow, and Burpee seeds(they will tell you what goes quick and I think peas do), and you are off! You can introduce all sorts of variables to draw different conclusions, and don't forget the control. Without it, it is not a valid experiment.
