Someone (this morning) asked about what was in your tack trunk. I really liked that question but didn't get a chance to answer it. So here it goes shot number two of the question: What is in YOUR tack trunk?Mine:-Fly Spray-Cowboy Magic Shampoo-Mane n' Tail detangler- 1 winter glove- 2 summer gloves- lead rope-LIME GREEN halter- pink and purple half chaps- brushes- hoof oil- sponges- leather oil- a cookie i think?- Apple treats - peppermint wrappers-sugar cubes- brown half pad (used to be white)- rubber d ring snaffle - roller bit- lead rope with a chain - brown half chaps- pink shoe laces- a horse shoe- LEMON YELLOW splint bootsWhat is in your tack trunk? What kind of tack trunk do you have (i'm looking for a new one)?

And there is always a valve handy to close, to stop the leaking water.
Without getting into specifics, I would say your best bet is to check your MSDS (material safety data sheets) and applicable technical manuals. They should list all the safety precautions and PPE (personal protective equipment you need for each task. Plus, if you don't feel that the prescribe safety measures are adequate it is your right to go above and beyond. It is your health and you are ultimately responsible.
