Question:

The windshield wiper on the drivers side of my doesnt move. Whats the repair cost going to be?

I had a spare windshield wiper in my car, when one wore out. I used it, a winter wiper. It was bigger than the regular one on the driver‘s side. For a while, I had no problem. Until yesterday‘s rain storm. After tangling, I stopped the car to untangle the wipers. When I started up again. The wiper on the drivers side stopped moving(ice/snow not the cause). I assume the worst.

Answer:

Assume the BEST! chances are the NUT that holds things in place has LOOSENED at the base. Pull the cover off the base of the wiper arm and SEE! any quicky lube can do this for NOTHING! GOOD LUCK!
There's a bolt protuding from the wiper motor through the base of the windshield wiper arm. Turn on the wipers and see if the bolt is turning. If not, you probably have a problem with the motor assembly. If it's turning, then you'll just need to tighten the screw that attached the wiper arm to the motor.
