This guy Belenus Blaire is the most powerful fire mage anyone in the story has seen in almost 2 centuries. Has trained his whole life and is ridiculously powerful.But he's also a crazy pyromaniac who LOVES burning things. Not sadistic like torturing people, but burning things(or towns) to ash sends him into euphoria and not being able to burn anything for a while gives him nervous breakdowns. He's also very unstable, prone to violent rages or fits of laughter and having very weird conversations with himself on occasion.Need a theme song for a character, something that suits his sheer power and his intense love of burning things. THANKS!!
What about a brass kick-plate?
The probability of an object getting struck is not only dependent upon the height of the rod, but the prescence of other discharge paths in the surrounding area and the shape of your rod. Standing in the middle of a flat field with no crops holding onto a pointed copper rod of about a meter or two in length puts you in a pretty good position to get struck by lightning during a storm. The pointed rod would work like a lightning rod in that its geometry helps accumulate a bit of space charge above the rod, increasing the probability that a lightning strike will complete a path with your rod.
