In my opinion, there are three guys head and shoulders above EVERYONE else. Elite safeties are Ed Reed, Troy Palamalu, and Bob Sanders. Beyond that there are a host of other guys vying for one of the last two spots. I'll have to give one of the spots to a oldie, and one to a young gun. Brian Dawkins still has it. He has been one of the top safeties for a long while. He is explosive and instinctive. Never underestimate what he can do for a defense. Watch any of the iggles games this year and you'll know how important he is to them. OJ Atogwe is alllllways in the right place at the right time. It's a shame he was on such a horrible team this year or he'd be getting a lot more credit. He makes the tackles and is always in position to make an interception. I'd take him any day. He is a joke. Stop looking at ints I watched him play a few times and he is horrible. They get burned through the air because.. there whole secondary is bad thats why. They give up so many big plays.
