Would you fire this employee or not?I am a restaurant manager(big restaurant chain) and apparently our Regional manager could not get an approval(From HR) to fire a simple employee at-will(waiter). Why? This employee did not follow the chain of command by sending creative suggestions directly to the Executives Presidents.My regional manager wants me to fire him but if she could not get an approval from an Executive HR why would I have to do that? Can I get into trouble as well?Also for some reason one of his email(suggestions) went to the mother group(Group who owns us 18 Billion) and the Chairman saw them and asked to our Marketing Department if his ideas were good?PS: This employee has sent about 8 emails and several of his suggestions have been implemented. I believe he is highly creative but nobody likes him so nobody wants to promote him for some reasons.Most were multi- million $ suggestions , only one of them(suggestion) add 190 millions last year!
Then pin holes were most likely caused from electrolysis. Did they use the pipes as an electrical ground. As to the pipes. Using PVC is normally extremely easy to assemble, almost fool proof. If you have several leaks you must being doing something very wrong. The hack saw is ok. I just use a piece of sand paper to knock off the burrs. As mentioned, remove the strainers on your faucets to see if debris is stopping the flow. As to the flow. Look any galvanized metal elbows. Could be near the pump or water heat etc. Just one old corroded elbow can restict your flow. 3/4 inch should be fine.
