It might just be that particular store alarm that was a bit sensitive to some of the things you had in your possession. It could be your bracelet. Is it metal or has metal part? If you really want to test it, then wear it again, go to other stores, and see if you set off alarms again. I find that some store alarms just beep for no reasons. It became almost like car alarms where no one pays attention anymore when it goes off. c
Always a good idea to have an extinguisher anywhere. Buy the largeset you can afford, and make sure it is classified A B C . You may just save someones life.
